Whether you’re trying to get a jump on holiday gift making or just ready to spend more time inside, there’s nothing more satisfying for any crafter or quilter than finishing a project!

Here are 5 easy weekend projects that are fun, creative, and easy to finish in a weekend – or less.

The AccuQuilt Team, and their talented Brand Ambassadors (known as GO! Getters), have been burning the midnight oil to cook up fun new projects to help you make the season bright.

Download the free patterns for these projects on the AccuQuilt website, and be sure to join our blog hop to get all the designer's tips as well!

GO! Save Your Spot Bookmarks

These bookmarks are so fun to make that you may have trouble stopping! They make great handmade gifts to accompany books for holiday giving, and you could even use fabric to “match” the book. They’re also a great way to use up scraps.

Get kids involved by showing them how to cut the squares for you on the GO! die. AccuQuilt Staffer Leslie G. designed this project for readers everywhere.

GO! Gnome Tea Towels

Here’s a project that’s sure to spark your creativity! Using pre-made tea towels, it’s a breeze to create some fun for your kitchen when you use the GO! Gnome Die.

There’s free, downloadable embroidery available, but you should try raw edge applique (using a straight stitch along the inside edge of each shape) for a more rustic feel.

Soon you’ll be making gnomes for every season of the year. These towels are great for tucking into gift baskets full of cookies or other goodies over the holidays, too!

This project was created by AccuQuilt GO! Getter Suzy Webster. Check out her blog post on October 11 for all her tips.

GO! Christmas Tablecloth

Get a jump on holiday decorating with this no-sew project, and you’ll be setting your Christmas table in style!

The key is starting with a pre-made tablecloth (although the pattern includes directions for making your own) and no-sew fusible. So, grab your holiday dies and you’ll be done in no time at all.

GO! Getter Denise Looney created this fun project. Check out her blog post from October 8 at www.fortheloveofgeese.com for more information.

GO! Monthly Minis Cut and GO!

Have fun creating mini calendar quilts to spread the joy of the season all around your house! These mini quilts are just the thing for a quick holiday project. Personalize them with festive dies like the GO! Pickup and designs and you’ll be decking your halls in no time.

This project was created by GO! Getter Laura Strickland of Orange Blossom Quilt, and her blog post about this project will be October 12. Discover how Laura creates the non-AccuQuilt shapes in her blog!

GO! Keyboard Wrist Pillow

Give the gift of comfort to yourself and others with this project. These wrist pillows GO! together in a jiffy and are perfect for almost anyone on your list.

Enlist the aid of your children or grandchildren to get them in on the fun, too. The long, straight seams are a great way for new sewists to practice their ¼” seams!

AccuQuilt Staffer Katie S. designed this project just for you - and already has a collection of them made!
