It’s happened yet again – the holidays have snuck up on us and Thanksgiving will be here in a flash.

This year is sure to be full of “Friendsgiving” and Thanksgiving celebrations that couldn’t be held last year...and we're "sew" excited!!

7 Easy DIY Gift Ideas

Here are some quick and easy gifts to share with those you love this holiday season. Plus, be sure to check out our favorite, tried and true recipes, at the end of the blog!

This season is all about family, friends, gifts, and food! So, let's create!

Oven Mitts

Kitchen gifts are always popular, and the GO! Oven Mitt Die makes it possible to whip up several of these useful items in no time!

Fun fall fabric choices make them perfect for the season, and you know they will get a workout with all the holiday cooking going on! Here's a free Santa-themed oven mitt pattern to get you started!

Whether you’re hosting or being hosted, you can’t go wrong with a festive apron for the season! You’re sure to “stir up” plenty of compliments if you greet your guests at the door wearing an apron appliqued with shapes from the GO! Fall Medley.

Free, downloadable embroidery and a pre-made apron make this project so easy, you’ll want to make several once you get started!

Tea Towels

Make dish duty fun with appliqued tea towels! Start with pre-made towels, add in shapes cut with the GO! Fall Medley or GO! Pumpkins dies with a dash of free, downloadable embroidery and you’re ready to dry in style.

Personalize it with names, special messages or other fun applique shapes like the GO! Gnome.

Wine Bag

Present your hosts with a bottle of something special in style by making these adorable bottle sized gift bags.

The sky’s the limit on bottles to use – wine, champagne, sparkling non-alcoholic juice or even coffee syrups!

Mug Rugs

You just can’t go wrong with mug rugs or fabric coasters! Make these for hostess gifts, or for your guests to use at your house.

Make the day extra special by having enough to send home with your guests at the end of the party. You can make them fit any party theme by changing the fabrics and colors you use – Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and more!

Check the pattern for GO! Quick Coasters, then think about adding some fun applique shapes from the GO! Fall Medley or GO! Holiday Medley dies, maybe?

Ornaments (and beyond!)

The GO! Mitten Die offers so many options, that it’s hard to pick just one way to use it! They can make quick, no-sew ornaments or gift tags, or sew them together to make a cute gift card holder!

Check out more ideas from the GO! Oven Mitt and GO! Mitten launch show!
