Eleanor Burns and AccuQuilt GO! Take the Puzzle out of Dutchman’s Puzzle

Number Four Block of the Week by Eleanor Burns

Dutchman’s Puzzle is our choice block for this week. The Dutchman in this case refers to triangular geese-shaped pieces instead of countrymen. There are eight “geese” to make for the Dutchman’s Puzzle, four of each color. Check out Eleanor Burns' book, “GO! Sampler” to see how easy it is to sew the geese.

AccuQuilt Makes Cutting Perfect Geese a Breeze

Eleanor and Lynn use cutting dies #4 and #5 from AccuQuilt’s 9-inch GO! Qube™ set. One smart way to get perfectly cut geese for the Dutchman’s Puzzle is to use your AccuQuilt GO! fabric cutter. This week Lynn uses the GO! Big cutter so she can cut two dies at once. That means that with only two passes you can cut all the triangles. It’s so easy! Also, don’t forget to use the handy Sew Straight Eleanor clued us into last week.
