Edyta Sitar Exhibit: A Few of My Favorite Things

Jun 18, 2015 9:23:15 AM / by AccuQuilt

The AccuQuilt Gallery has a new exhibit, A Few of My Favorite Things by designer Edyta Sitar. The exhibit is a stunning display of traditional and modern quilts made by a combination of piecing and appliqué. In this exhibit you'll find dancing umbrellas, scrappy stars, silhouettes of nature, flower bouquets, and much more. Many of Sitar's quilts feature the GO! Simple Shapes die, which can give quilts a simple, yet dramatic "pop." Sitar effectively incorporates an impressive amount of scraps into her quilts, and these quilts are certain to become heirlooms in her family. See some of Sitar's beautiful quilts below that include plenty of fabric from her scrap collection.
