Apr 29, 2019 7:53:46 AM / by AccuQuilt

April was an exciting time around here. We released the GO! Baby Bib and GO! Burp Cloth dies. While those new project dies are exciting, they aren't all we had in store for you. Also answering popular demand, we announced this month that the GO! Owl Accessories would now be sold separately. We wanted to allow all AccuQuilt users the fun, limitless possibilities of this die paired with the GO! Owl die. What things can you create with this dynamic duo? Read on!

GO! Animal Buddies Pattern

This guy is a hoot, and so is the 3D project that brings him to life! With the base shape in the GO! Owl Accessories die, you can now make your critter creations look even more lively. Of course, you don't have to make him 3D and can instead appliqué this design onto a sweet baby blanket or kids' quilt.

GO! Posy Hair Tie Pattern

If you're looking for a rainy day activity or slumber party project, this kid-friendly hair accessory pattern is easy but oh-so fun! The one above uses two layers of pink felt, but just think of the fabric possibilities. One layer of a cotton fabric with a cute pattern or fun color backed by a layer of felt offers stability and makes it possible to create a hair tie for every outfit.

GO! Rudy Mug Rug Pattern

We still have a few months before Christmas is here, but it's never too early to start planning your Christmas gifts! This cute mug rug is kid-friendly and so perfect for everyone from parents, grandparents, teachers and friends. Of course, Rudy the Reindeer doesn't have to be on a mug rug or made with felt and can instead be appliquéd on anything from placemats, hand towels, wall hangings and more!

GO! On the Dot Pencil Bag Pattern

Upcycling is very popular right now and who's surprised? Every year, tons of beautiful and useful fabrics are thrown away thanks to unfortunate wear and tear in one small area. When it comes to jeans, a hole in the knee doesn't have to mean the end of the denim. This pencil bag pattern gives an old pair of pants a whole new use!

GO! Cute Cows Pillowcase Pattern

Another pattern, another adorable creature - this pillowcase uses the GO! Owl die alongside the GO! Owl Accessories die to create spotty cows. Add the little flower and heart shapes to dress up these fun bovine!

GO! Blooming Book Cover Pattern

Now this one is out of the box. Using the GO! Owl and GO! Owl Accessories, you can make a gorgeous vase of flowers. The shapes included provide so many ways to make fun little flowers.

GO! Heart Clip Pattern

This pattern provides another idea for making customizable hair clips. With the GO! Owl Accessories, fabric and any button, you can make flower and heart hair ties for all occasions. Grab your GO! Owl die to make circles or add a leaf to a flower tie.

GO! Cuddle Me Koala Cinch Bag Pattern

Talk about cuddly! This drawstring bag is precious and, like many others on this list, a kid-friendly project. Even better, this koala and his rest-worthy branch can be placed on any bag of your choice.

BONUS! GO! Talk to the Animals

Who knew so many adorable critters could come from one die? With the GO! Owl, we've been able to create a bunny, raccoon, mouse, frog, pig, koala, cow and squirrel, but truly the only limit is your own creativity. Now just think what you could do with the addition of the GO! Owl Accessories!
