North Carolina is known for its vivid history, such as being home to the Wright brothers’ first flight, and now the state is impacting the quilting industry. Without further ado, say hello to AccuQuilt’s fourth state-themed die and November’s Die to Try series die, the GO! North Carolina Star-12” Finished Die!
Die to Try Series
The Die to Try program offers an exclusive new die on the first Tuesday of every month.
These dies are available during their release month while supplies last on the AccuQuilt website or at your local retailer. When the next month starts, another new die, more free patterns, and additional tutorials are available to quilters.
Quilters can vote to add a Die to Try die to our permanent die collection, meaning more quilters will be able to grab the die if they were unable to during its special launch.
A Breathtaking Block
The GO! North Carolina Star-12” Finished Die features 16 shapes that are difficult to cut by hand. Instead of rotary cutting, quilters can utilize their GO! or GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutters to quickly, accurately, and safely produce a 5-color, 12” finished block in a single pass through the cutter. This Block on Board, or BOB, die can create a sharp star block with ease to make one of the lovely free, downloadable patterns available on the AccuQuilt website.

The GO! North Carolina Rings Throw Quilt is the pattern you see on the packaging, and it can be created by setting the North Carolina Star blocks on point and finishing with a fun border.
With the GO! Carolina Blossoms Throw Quilt, you can be prepared for any season!
Along with a few GO! Strip Cutter Dies and the GO! Qube Mix & Match 10” Block, you can easily create this stunning pattern. Think about changing the colorway using GO! Quilt to mimic your favorite flowers, too!
