Hi, it's Marjorie Busby from bluefeatherquiltstudio.com here, with some quick ideas for holiday stitching. Making in the hoop machine embroidery ornaments is a great way to give a personalized gift and can be used as ornaments as well as gift tags. They stitch up quickly and use relatively small pieces of fabric. Stitching them is similar to making fabric postcards, but with a different shape and a holiday theme. Last month I posted about using the Holiday Circles 2 Machine Embroidery Designs to make a table topper. This month, the same set is used to make holiday ornaments.

Machine embroidery applique is the perfect way to embellish holiday projects. It adds that extra glimmer and pizzazz that we all love and perfectly enhances wall hangings, table dressings, and other projects. I am making several of these Holiday Circles projects to be used as wall hangings and table runners for gifts and for my own home. You will see in this tutorial that it is so easy to do with a little bit of fabric and thread.
