Posts about Christmas and more.
To me, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. I love this time of year with the beautiful lights, gathering together with family & friends and the wonderful cool weather we experience here in the Phoenix! It is one of the few times in the year that we really need quilts to stay warm, so the timing is always perfect to break out my Christmas quilts. This month I designed a lovely Christmas Throw named “Christmas Wishes.” Now you may be thinking, it is a week before Christmas, how could I complete this quilt in time? Well the beauty of Christmas is that is comes every year. So now is the time to start planning for next year. This pattern would also work well in any color family, so you can make one for each season.
Hi! It's Sherri from A Quilting Life here today with a simple LeMoyne Star quilted pillow tutorial. You'll love how quick and easy the LeMoyne Star block goes together with the AccuQuilt GO! LeMoyne Star die.
Hi everyone! It’s Erin Harris from House on Hill Road back to share another quick project made using my AccuQuilt GO! Cutter. These sets of six coasters make a fantastic hostess or teacher gift and sew up in little time. They are great for using up scraps and take just one cutting die. Because each set takes one pass through the cutter, I often set up a few sets at a time and sew them assembly-line style. I decided to use six different holiday fabrics to make these sets fun and festive, but anything goes! If you want all of your coasters exactly the same, use two or four fabrics for the fronts. Pressed for time? Cut both the fronts and the backs using the square portion of the die for reversible coasters!
