Hi everyone! It’s Erin from House on Hill Road back today to add to the medallion quilt I started last month. I’ve designed and cut my entire throw-sized medallion quilt using my GO! Cutter and the GO! 12” Qube dies. This month, I am adding two more borders and next month, we’ll finish piecing the quilt top. If you are just joining us, please check my post from last month that shows you how to get started.
Quilters have been known to create some very inventive places to hide their quilting fabric. Why do they hide fabrics you ask? Well, here's how I imagine this strange habit evolved...long, long ago.
Eleanor Burns is back again showing you how to make and sew the Chisels Braid Table Runner using the GO! Chisels die. You can find this pattern in the Chisels Quilt Pattern Booklet. Additionally, the booklet includes two more inspirational patterns, which not only use this versatile die, but also the GO! Half Square Triangle-3" die.
If you've been following our blog these past couple of years, then you have seen a ton of beautiful designs and detailed tutorials from Belinda Karls-Nace who is multi-talented as a quilter, needlework designer, and blogger. You could also add other talents to the pile ... pattern designer, photographer, crafter, which all allow her creativity to flourish at every possible angle. Belinda truly is the ultimate creative who has many accomplishments throughout her career thus far, so it's incredible that she still has plenty more that she wants to achieve.
