Hi AccuQuilt Friends! It's me, Melissa Corry from Happy Quilting and today I am so excited to share a few holiday banner projects I created using the new AccuQuilt GO! Pennant Die (55149). All use strip piecing and appliqué embellishments which are great ways to add color and fun to the basic pennant banner. These banners are so fun to make and go together pretty fast. They are a great way to add a little handmade to your holiday decor. :)
Hi AccuQuilt friends! I'm Melanie from A Bit of Scrap Stuff and I'm so excited to share a tutorial with the AccuQuilt GO! Qube Mix & Match 12" Block (55778) and GO! Stars (55028). We are going to make a fun and fabulous (plus quick) Fourth of July project today! Don't worry international friends - this block will look adorable in all colors!
For many, Memorial Day marks the beginning of summer and picnic season. In fact, you might be one of the 60% of Americans who are planning a barbecue. Though the time with family and friends is a wonderful way to honor the federal holiday, the meaning behind it is even more important. The day is all about observing those who were lost while serving for their country. As a quilter, you're probably looking for ways to show respect and decorate your space with your talents. We've got some ideas that will do both and create moments for conversation.
The AccuQuilt Gallery welcomes Quilts of Valor, a showcase of eight quilts from the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Volunteer quilters get together to make quilts for veterans during sew-ins every first Wednesday of the month. The quilts will be on display through January 27.
