Greetings sewing enthusiasts– it’s me...Belinda from Blue Ribbon Designs…and I'm back again today with a brand new quilting tutorial featuring the GO! Qube. In case we haven’t already met, I'm a quilting and needlework designer, creator, finisher, and teacher (and the author of the Samplings from a Blue Ribbon Girl blog)…and I put my AccuQuilt Fabric Cutters and cutting dies to work on a daily basis!

Today, I will show you how to create a patriotic wall hanging with five dies from your GO! Qube and how to embellish it with the GO! Star cutting die. This red, white, and blue project is quick and easy to create and is the perfect addition for your Independence Day decor.

With the 4th of July in less than a week, I thought it would be fun to make a holiday wall hanging... which, by the way, is the perfect size for a table topper….and, of course, using the GO! Qube Mix & Match 9" Block made this Americana project quick and easy! This is a basic pieced project created with 9” quilt blocks, but you could easily adapt this tutorial for the 6”, 8” or 12” GO! Qube (it will just change the finished size of your project). You will also want to have a GO! Qube 9" Block-72 Block Patterns Booklet handy – this FREE downloadable pattern booklet for the GO! Qube 9” will give you detailed instructions for piecing the three traditional quilt blocks used in this project (and will give you a TON of inspiration for future projects!). So go pick out some fun patriotic fabrics and let’s get started…
