Hi everyone! It’s Lee from May Chappell and I’m back with another pillow for the Pillow Talk series. This month, I’m using the GO! Ohio Star-12" Finished block. It’s part of the BOB collection of GO! dies. BOB means “block on board”, so basically with these dies you can buy one die and cut a whole block! Pretty handy.
When I make a pillow, I like to sew in a bit on the corners so that it’s not a pointy empty corner. Here’s a diagram. The first seam is the seam you’ve sewn as you’ve attached the pillow front to the pillow back. You’ll come in on each of the four corners and sew the second seam.
It makes the pillow have less pointy corners. I made this version in pretty greens to add some St. Patty’s decor to my couch, but the Ohio March Pillow pattern is a fun pattern for almost any holiday. You can check out another version on my blog.
