Pumpkin Patch Placemats – A Quilting Tutorial

Oct 26, 2016 9:00:00 AM / by Belinda Karls-Nace

Greetings fellow quilters, sewists, and AccuQuilt enthusiasts - it's me, Belinda from Blue Ribbon Designs and the Samplings from a Blue Ribbon Girl blog, stopping by for my latest guest post. I am back today to share another one of my AccuQuilt pattern designs featuring the GO! Qube and GO! Qube Companion – my “Pumpkin Patch Placemats.”

Today, I will show you how to create a set of two quilted placemats with the GO! Qube Mix & Match 8” Block and GO! Qube 8" Companion Set-Classics. These fall-colored placemats will bring a touch of autumn to your dining room and are quick and easy to create.

These patchwork pumpkins may look a bit complicated, but I will break them down for you step by step…and you will see just how easy they are to create. One placemat makes a nice table topper or you could combine several to make one long runner. I have written the tutorial to make two placemats, but you can simply adjust the supply list to make four or more. This is a great pattern for scraps or fat quarters…and it will work well with batiks, prints, or solids...or mix and match to fit your personal style and decor.
