Hi everyone, it is Connie from Freemotion by the River with another fast and easy tutorial for the Winter Blues Table Runner featuring the 12″ GO! Qube and also the new 12″ Companion Set. You’ll also find all kinds of quilting tutorials, quilt patterns, and other things on my blog.
Today I am sharing how to make a beautiful table runner that is perfect for the holidays and can also be used at any time of the year if it matches your decor. Notice the tree in the background of my photo? That is the one that we lost last week when a F1 tornado came through our little town. This is probably the last photo I took that has this tree in it. Let's get started!

Sew the cream half square triangles to the medium blue quarter square triangles following the diagram below. Make 12 of these.
Sew 6 half square triangles to 6 of the dark blue chisel pieces. Look at the photo below, this is what I really, really like about the AccuQuilt GO! dies! It is so fast and easy to match up sections!
Add 6 of the light blue rectangles to the left side of the chisel- half square triangle unit.
Make 6 of each unit.
Join both of these units as shown in the diagram below.
Continue to join all of the units and make the blocks for the table runner.
Add your batting and backing and quilt as desired. Bind your table runner.
My Christmas decorations are all packed away, but I picked up these cute little bells to make you think of the holidays coming soon!
I hope you have enjoyed the Winter Blues Table Runner tutorial made with the AccuQuilt GO! Fabric Cutter and GO! dies. If you are looking for more ideas for using the GO! Qube Mix & Match 12″ Block (55778), you might enjoy some of my previous quilt tutorials.
